The Fictional Newspaper NEWSPAPER FINAL For your final piece this year, you will be creating a fictional newspaper. You will be responsible for creating, designing, and writing all elements in this newspaper and every piece must be based on a different book that you have read this year. There will be specific requirements that you must meet and these are clearly outlined for you below. What you need to know about this project: 1. This project will be worth 50 points and so it would behoove you to work diligently and put forth your best effort. 2. You may use a book/series only twice in the paper. 3. You must create a file in your LA 05-06 folder called Fiction Newspaper and in a file called FN_lastname. You also will have a Publisher document that you need to save as FNP_lastname. 4. You will be required to submit proposals. All proposals must be approved before you will be allowed to write any content for your paper. Keep in mind, the care with which you complete these proposals will contribute to your final grade. 5. Each of the newspaper articles must be written in Microsoft Word in your FN doc. Then, once you have finished them in Word, you will copy and paste them into your Publisher FNP doc. Before you may paste your Word documents into your publisher document, they must be submitted and approved before moving on to Publisher. 6. You are encouraged to use your imagination and creativity. While all elements of the newspaper must be grounded in the books you have read, you are able to put a twist of your own to each article and piece if you so desire. So be imaginative and have fun!
